haha... its monday... we have CAs on weds, thurs and fri.... and next thurs and fri! So i better make this quick... i just downloaded some Pharmaco MCQs... sian... Its really difficult to recall... like who remembers the percentage bioavailability of Captopril? Sigh... I just read my CVS drugs on friday... i must've converted it to short term memory... no long term potentiation lah.. haha... Or maybe its part of my Procedural not Declarative memory... haha.. that's why i can't recall that i've memorised it... hopefully during the test i'll be able to do the questions though... cos its a procedure mah... like if i dunno i know i can play the piano but once i sit down in front of one its automatic... haha... Sorry... i did neuroscience yesterday see... so must put my knowledge to good use! :) Smile! :)

I haven't been posting much... Sorry! Just that I've been pretty busy recently... Studying lah... Got major tests coming up! Yup... So gotta mug... Its kinda difficult cos really got alot to study! I haven't been playing Maple Story already... haha... 2 days never play! (today's the 3rd day) I'm in the medsoc room now using the com... *duh* if not using com then use wat?? haha... anyway, i'm trying to send out my Jing's Histo notes... to the M1s lah... I saved it in my yahoo mail but before i send it out must label it properly and add a contents page... so troublesome right? Think i'll save it in my thumb drive and go home and edit... see how lah... so troublesome right? Sigh... Cos the file's too big! So i can't send it as ONE email... gotta spilt it up into several different parts...

I think I'll compile everything 1st... then see how lah...

This photo was taken before a 403 Class outing... we were meeting at Yew Tee Mrt and just nice got this vending machine... so me and carine took a photo for each other... haha... so paiseh!

This was taken just a couple of days ago... On saturday at Jianyang's house... he invited us over for Chinese New Year... haha... we webcammed at his place using yaosheng's webcam with Carine! :) So exciting... haha... Sorry i'm such a swa gu... (mountain tortoise)

:) Does that date sound familiar?? Its Valentine's Day today... Well, some people see it as a commercialised date set by florists and gift shops to earn more income... and well, its highly possible... but still, its a nice day to exchange gifts with a loved one... :) Although of course, we actually do that all the time... During birthdays, christmas, anniversaries... etc... so U see, actually Valentine's day is acutally quite extra... But more is better then less right?

:) So i went to school today with his present... and i got my 1st surprise in my locker... A mickey and minnie balloon! They're of special significance, cos we each have a mickey and minnie stuffed toy... They're supposed to keep us company when the other's not around... I had to hide the balloon under the chair during lecture...

Then after lecture came my 2nd surprise! A bouquet of 12 roses! Earlier on i guessed that he'd give me 6... 12! Wow! I felt quite bad cos it must've cost him quite alot... So "xin tong" for his pocket! Thank you for your flowers dear... Thank you Anin for getting our LT group roses too! Real sweet...

I had a hard time walking around with so much barang barang... had to get help from derrick, ah ma, anin and Jack... thanks for helping too! Later when i took bus home i had to hold flowers in one hand and balloon in the other...

Anyway, we didn't go out today... cos it'll be real crowded outside... plus we both should be studying... So we decided to postpone our date to later... then celebrate! :) It doesn't matter when lah... everyday can be valentine's day! (Ah ma was quite surprised i said this cos "Wah! U're cheesie leh!" haha... I grow up too...)

haha.. i think my Title sounds like an Enid Blyton story book!! :) Like " The magic broomstick and other stories" haha... Anyway, there's a mouse in my house... we 1st discovered it on Wednesday, when we came home and i found suspicious looking black round little droppings on the kitchen floor... So we quickly closed the windows... There wasn't any the next morning i think... but yesterday morning we kinda discovered that our bananas were half eaten... and there were more droppings... ss we figured it was the mouse! So yesterday night we removed the bananas... and covered all the food... but there were still droppings... hopefully the mouse realises that there's nothing left to eat and leaves... i don't want him to get poisoned by any rat poison or traps and the like...

Anyway, blur me forgot that there's COFM tutorial today! (its past 12 so its officially valentine's day already) I'm printing the slides and handouts now... sigh.. i so blur... luckily the questions don't look too difficult... so i'll just read through them and maybe depend on Jack and Anin for answers tomorrow.. haha... :0) Anyway, Happy Valentine's Day everybody! :)

i guess that's about it lah...

Oh, i'm losing quite alot of hair.. quite worried (this is a postitive feedback loop) I shall try to be less worried or i'll lose even more hair... i think its cos my hair's too long so its heavy and it tends to drop...its not too bad lah, but the parting's getting thinner... i should cut it soon... *sniff* my nice rebonded hair! sigh... see how 1st lah...

Ok, i'm a bit late... (i always am... haha) Anyway, better late than never right?? :)

the past few days have been real busy! Visiting, collecting ang bao, then Visiting, collecting ang bao, then Visiting, collecting ang bao... haha... anyway, we had school on both monday and tuesday, but i guess most of us were in the holiday mood... we had a real late PBl on monday... at AH... only four of us went! Wah, quite sad... then after that i went queensway to buy Teva Slippers for myself... (my bday present from PL n Carine) cos i haven't gotten a present yet and my slippers just broke...(i'm NOT gonna wear them till CNY! :) cos i think new stuff must wait till new year haha.. Ah ma also bought sandals... they're her V day present from Bobby) then Tuesday i went home early (relatively) and later went to turf city for Renuion dinner! met jack outside Ah Yi seafood restaurant cos he was eating next door... and later when i was just about the toss my raw fish, Terence Quek came in! wow... wat a coincidence! :) Then i drove home... I'm a more confident driver already! :) (now i know why my dad wanted me to learn driving.. so he can drink and i can drive... haha) Speaking of which, PL passed her driving test! This has further concluded my theory that we should always take the test on the eve of a public holiday... and maybe wear red! haha... :)

Anyway, my Chinese New Year passed similar to previous years... went to paternal side on Day one and maternal side on Day two... but i also went to Derrick's place yesterday... Met both his dad and mum's parents! :) And another exception's that some people actually said "Wah, bian cheng "lang lui" already" which means "become pretty in cantonese" haha... eh... maybe the long hair?? haha... :) And one of my relatives real pretty! :) Eurasian look... :)

That's about it lah... Today i'm supposed to be studying... got study lah... but i also did my 1st party quest on maple story! :) I'm quite weak so had to depend on the other members for help... thankfully they were pretty understanding... cos i was kinda slow and didn't understand some stuff... haha... :)

My days are getting better! :)

Think maybe cos the weekend's here... yesterday (friday) was better! :) haha there was this stunned silence during lecture when wenshen said "schistosomiasis" for one of Prof Tambyah's questions... Goodness... I was like "wat????" and quickly turned around to look for the smartie in the LT... haha... Then later came this slide with a guy with swollen fingers and knees... then the last slide was a PMN with gram negative diplococci.... i saw the 1st 2 picts and already knew wat pathogen it was.... then the LT was quiet so i said "gonnorhea" and Prof Tambyah actually heard me... (think maybe cos the LT was quiet) And then he was "yes! Neisseria Gonococcus is correct. Very good." So yah lah, i was quite happy... (with myself) although i have Derrick to thank cos he was the one who told me he once got a case with this old man having arthritis and swollen fingers and that the man had gonorrhea... haha... So see, i'm not smart... its Sha3 Ren2 you2 Sha3 Fu2 i guess... Anyway i think quite alot of people already knew the answer, just that they didn't say it... Anyway, ah ma was impressed with me.. And a bit worried cos how come i know and she dunno... haha... And then Prof Tambyah told the LT to keep quiet so that me n wenshen could attempt the next question... about this boy with sawtooth bones and respiratory distress... And i thought syphilis... i didn't dare to say it cos i wasn't sure... (stupid me) and it was correct! So we were still tied... later he came in with another question about Sommelwess (i think) and George guessed that one correctly so he got the prize...

Then later got Patho was pretty funny too... haha.. we had Dr Tan Kong Bing... (the funny lecturer who laughs at his own jokes) and he had a "competition" among the groups...

Later i waited a while for derrick in school and watched him eat his dinner... then i went to orchard cos i wanted to look for the butterfly clip... They didn't have anymore stock... and obviously i couldn't exchange it lah... but they told me tt i can't hold the top... must hold the stick... sigh.. should have told me earlier right? So silly... I bought another clip at Chomel at Taka... and i bought Derrick his Valentine's day present from Isetan at Shaw... (a tie bar) Wah, it was quite ex! Even after 20% discount... but its nice lah... the other cheaper brand didn't look as good... and it didn't have the button hook too...

A bit about Sha Ren You Sha Fu.... U think this happens? Sometimes i think so... We're blur about things and we just "wu da wu zhuang" and we end up with something good! :) I guess it happens to everyone lah.. but i sure comes as a nice surprise! :)

I just spent 2 hrs + doing my PBL... and its only 2 pages! Couldn't find the info... very difficult.. thankfully its the last one already! :)

i've been spending alot lately... better curb my expenses... (its only the 5th day of the month! 23 more days to go before my next allowance! goodness... cos i've been buying stuff for pple... like Teva slippers for my dad... and a bday present and of course stuff for myself! CNY clothes mah...)

Remember the butterfly clip i was talking about? Well, i looked at it today and guess wat? The entire wing dropped off! (it was hanging there by my super glue) sigh... i feel so sad... $12.90 down the drain.. i tried glueing it back w superglue but its no working... think maybe cos the thing is too heavy and pulls on the glue... its still functional lah, but not as nice to look at... (and i bought it cos it was nice, not cos its functional... if i wanted something functional i would've just stuck to my good old Evita Peroni Hair Clip) Speaking of that hair clip, its a real ZAI hair clip... (oh dear, this sounds so silly) but it is! It got into the washing machine before... cos i left it in my jeans and forgot all abt it... n i only remembered 1 day later (after the clothes were washed) that my hair clip was missing! And there it was lying at the bottom of the washing machine... it survived!:) was a little rusty but the rust could be wiped off! And there were other times when i put it in my jeans pocket and it got bent n out of shape... but now it still looks good as new!

Maybe brands do matter... cos the butterfly's from aries... maybe i'll get a Chomel one... See if got difference or not... :0) (Case Study) but i'll probably use less force n be more careful so got bias.. haha..

another thing is i can't find the rubber bands i bought from the bazaar 2 weeks ago! one is brand new n the other i've only used it 3x! (during the bake sale) Hmnnn... i wonder where they went... My stuff's always had a habit of disappearing... n appearing again later... maybe they'll appear soon... (i hope) Like my ang bao money... haha... i used to put my money in the majong table drawer... and once i forgot all about it so when x'mas came my relatives used the table to play mahjong... and Boy was my uncle surprised to find > $200 in the drawer! :) Thankfully he was honest... (no wonder i was so poor that year... haha) I guess there's something wrong with my system... if i keep all my stuff properly i wouldn't have such a problem anymore... But that's the problem! Sometimes i keep it too well! Then i forget... haha... other times its cos i leave it lying around... most of the time i know where it is... but sometimes i forget... or maybe the dog came in n ate it... or my mum threw it away...

Lemme digress a little, there's something wrong with my maple story! (at home) i downloaded the patch last night n it was fine... (i didn't play though) and today i learnt that there's a new patch so i tried downloading it but after i select the server it auto shuts down the program! odd... i'll just borrow someone's using a CD-RW...

ok, that's abt all the complaints i have for today... stay tuned soon for another episode of: Cheesie's Grouses

PS... have i been grumbling alot lately?? I wonder why... anyway, i think i'm back to my old self already... (proven by the grumbling.. haha.. just kidding)

Just a quick post...

Anyway, about drats, i hope i'm not being paranoid, but nothing seems to be going my way for the past few days... Dunno why, but i just don't feel right... think maybe i'm just jittery lah... dunno leh... like yesterday i Mapled and poubelle died twice... then i was trying to charge my discman but couldn't... finally got it to charge n left it overnight and i just tried to use it but still cannot... i'm charging again.. hope it works this time... my discman's so new!!!! :( i've probably only used it for 20times... in 2 yrs... (i bought it after e A level results were out)

Another thing's that i just bought this hair clip thingy... (something like chopsticks) and i was trying it out at home and part of it cracked! its a butterfly... the upper right wing cracked... together with the right feeler... its ok lah... i managed to bend it back n it won't drop off cos its stuck to the rest of the right wing, but still... Quite sad right? maybe i'm too rough... but if i don't use force i won't be able to stuff it into my hair right???

Actually these things all happen normally lah... ups and downs of life... my up today was getting the 65 just as i reached the bus stop! :) aiya... i still dunno wat's wrong... maybe i forgot to do something... but i'm not having the "I forgot something naggy feeling" i'm confused.. maybe i'm worried for my discman? Or my steth? Or MIF? sigh... got quite a few pple got probs with their steths... hopefully mine's fine...

I shall have a good sleep and hopefully will revert back to my usual self tomorrow... i'm not used to this feeling...

haha... maybe i haven't been studying for too long so i'm nto used to it.. .haha... maybe...
