I spent saturday evening to sunday night at Ah Ma's chalet! Haha... it was fun! With all the BBQing and eating and playing of games... I think Betrayal of house on the hill is not my game... I keep losing! :( SIGH... So sad...

Haha... we are seriously not a happening bunch man... We wanted to stroll by the beach n be more havoc... But we started talking about all sorts of Auntie stuff... and I started exercising (like doing Great Singapore Workout) and Ah ma started singing her oldies along with her handphone... Haha... We'll never change man...

We watched this super lousy "ghost" show on Channel 8... It really sucks... but good for a laugh lah... haha...

Anyway, the most funny part must've been when we all tried to sleep... Cos there were 9 of us, but only 4 single beds! So U can imagine the terrible squeeze man... 5 of us slept on the 2 single beds... Wah, i felt like a sardine! It was so squeezy my arms were not lying on the bed... haha...

The next day we all woke up late... and we went to bedok to eat lunch/breakfast and Parkway parade to shop for groceries... Slowly pple started coming and we played citadels! Poor Bobby and Derrick were starting the fire downstairs... The rest of the guys ah... *tsk tsk tsk*

Nobody wanted to eat the potatoes... So sad... I washed them and wrapped em up... I shared one with derrick... They taste good! Nice and soft... I guess there was too much food and everyone was full lah...

Anyway, it was q sad that very few pple were staying over... I wouldn't have minded but i had to go to the dentist the next morning so quite troublesome... But i guess too many pple stay also cannot cos got no space to sleep! I had alot of barang barang to bring home, so thankfully David drove and I managed to hitch a ride again! Thanks so much David! I really owe U big time...

I had my 1st wisdom tooth extraction today... It wasn't too bad... Was quite an experience! My dentist put lotsa LA gel and then gave me the LA jabs...

Wow... LA is an amazing invention.... cos a while after he gave me the Jabs, he jabbed me a few more times and i couldn't feel anything at all! Wow... And after all the pulling n tugging n my mouth being stretched open till I could feel my skin being stretched the tooth came out without me feeling anything at all! I just saw this red bloody blob and i figured it was my tooth... Later on he stitched it up with 2 stitches... and once more, no feeling! I compared sensation on the left with the right, and my sensation was seriously diminished... How interesting!

Subsequently it didn't feel so great anymore... My saliva kept pooling in my mouth with all the blood and all... and the worst thing was i felt I couldn't swallow cos my mouth and the lower half of my left face felt so numb and the left half of my tongue was semi-paralysed... My tongue felt swollen and super numb and it didn't really obey my commands when i tried moving it around... I had dysarthria! Cool! (Ok, maybe not so cool after all) And when I tried blowing i think my buccinator was semi paralysed too! Cos i couldn't keep my lips together and some saliva came out... Ewwww.... My orbicularis oris was intact though, cos I could show my teeth well...

When i got home i couldn't eat cos i still felt like i couldn't swallow... I took a damn long time taking photos of my mouth... (there's this gaping hole with a large blood clot!) and of course taking photos of my tooth! Its really cool, my dentist was showing me the centre of ossification! haha... Sorry but i just find it v fascinating... He was telling me that at my age the tooth's still growing and he pointed out 2 soft cartilaginous bits at the tip of the 2 roots, saying they were the replication centres,(that's why its soft cos its still cartilage) with all the active osteoblasts (which transform the cartilage into bone)! Cool! I so wanted to bring my tooth down to a lab for staining and sectioning!

Slowly the numbness went away and now its replaced with pain! ARGH... Sian man... I already ate naproxen(painkiller) but its still painful! Sigh... Maybe i should've asked for tramadol or something... Thankfully its bearable... About 5-6/10 on the pain scale lah... I'll just pretend I have an ulcer there...

Ok. That's it for my wisdom tooth extraction experience... I'm sorry for making a mountain out of a molehill... I just find it really interesting!
