Hi! Yesterday was my 2 year anniversary! Wow... time flies... Both of us were very tired, so we just met and had dinner at Essential Brew at Holland V... We sat upstairs, and the place's pretty nice with cushions and all... The food's not bad... Though i've tasted better... anyway, the lights were pretty dim and the cushions comfortable, so i kinda was falling asleep! haha... terrible right? Later we bought a chocolate swiss roll and put 2 candles on top... cos we're 2! But we were too full to eat much of it... so we just took small bites... haha...

On Monday i went to ikea... wanted to buy a giant poster A1 size frame but they were all so big and heavy! So i ended up buying a Hot Dog for $1.20 instead... haha... and i got one free drink... haha...

Sunday was spent preparing for anniversary... drawing, writing... re-potting a cactus... yupyup...

Hihi... today's thursday... but it feels like the weekend's here already... Cos i presented a case today so i feel like 'ru shi zhong fu' like that... got sometime till the next presentation and i've gotta do a gastro case... will try to KIV some pts...

We're supposed to do our COFM home visit thing tomorrow... But dunno whether can go ahead with it... See how la... :)

Yupyup, sorry my life's so uneventful... Will post more during the weekend (i hope)... haha...

Hi! I'm here once again... wah, been feeling sleepy all day... i have no idea why! i guess i'm pretty tired out... (though i dunno from what) I had one bottle of Chicken essence... but that didn't help... so i'm now online to do my writeup! (yes, again)

oh, today's Mooncake festival! :) I carried lanterns yesterday with derrick... we just walked around my estate... we were too full from dinner so we didn't eat any mooncake... Speaking of mooncake, my CG had a mooncake (and suncake) day on friday! Me, Linus and Ah ma brought one mooncake each... and Shermin brought "suncakes" from Taiwan! The suncakes are fantastic! Really delicious! *yum* Anyway, yah, we pigged out on the mooncake and talked crap for really long... it must be the TGIF symdrome...

i'm gonna carry lanterns again later... (by myself i think)... i used to go with my mum when i was a kid but i guess i'm all grown up now... i'm kinda old for it, but i like the feeling... very "sentimental" i guess... and i use the old fashioned type of candle lanterns... no fancy music with ultraman or powerpuff girls for me!

I'm a oldie at heart... haha... somethings just feel better doing it the old way...

haha, time for my weekly post... yesterday Sharon treated us to Thai express! So nice of her... and we had a birthday cake and sang her the birthday song... and then we gave her a little frog she named 'aussie' and an ang pao.. haha... very funny... cos me and ah ma were like looking at it under the table... then i think the thai express pple were thinking that we were very ah soh... or rather, ah ma... haha...

yah, i agree with carine that we veyr xia suay... cos we make alot of noise... (lucky it was like 4pm so not alot of people so never mind) then we cut cake they gave us plates... then never give us forks then ah ma had to go and take... haha... anyway, here're some of the photos... and you can see my new haircut in them.. haha...

I like my haircut... the only problem's that if its luan it looks terrible! but if i take good care of it and style it or blow dry my hair then it looks better...

At Foster's at Holland V...

Thank you Yaosheng for the dinner treat on Saturday! I had a really great time... the food and the ambience was Great! :) Anyway, i shall just copy and paste this from Carine's blog cos its more or less wat i wanna blog about...

That Cheesie was super cute. We all had red wine for dinner. Only Cheesie left her drink pretty much untouched throughout her main course. Someone was saying "Eh Cheesie, why you don't want to drink?" She said something like wait. When she was finishing up her chicken, she just drank all the wine in 1 gulp loh. We all never see but when we looked at her again, her glass was empty then she said she drank everything up. Haha then a while later, she kept telling me "Eh, think my heart beating very fast now leh. You feel my pulse. Oh no, I feel giddy too!" Haha she's so funny!!! But thankfully, I think she was just scaring herself... she didn't get tipsy or what lah... And PL's sandals snapped so she couldn't walk. Haha... very happening night...

I think i must go for a wine appreciation class... haha... i dunno how to 'taste' wine... i think it didn't go with my chicken, so i just left it alone till i was about to finish the chicken... i didn't want to leave the unpleasant taste of wine in my mouth so i drank it all up before finishing my chicken... haha... :)

Had a 'reflection' day today... kinda... i went for e soma meeting... (just a short while) and we were talking about our multiple baking sessions when we all made pineapple tarts like crazy... Yew Sen was saying it was really fun... Yup, i think we all enjoyed ourselves tremendously though i must say it was really hard work and we all smelt like pineapple after that and dreaded pineapple stuff for weeks (at least for me)... haha... "Ku3 zhong1 dai4 tian2" ba... It seems like it happened so long ago but it was actually this year! Anyway, it was a really memorable experience... i'll never forget it...i'm sure that years down the road, when we meet up... and think of soma, we'll never forget our bonding amidst the pineapple, flour, hot oven pieces and extra fried egg-white...for those of you who're reading this, thank you all for being such a wonderful part of my memories...

Really, its amazing how something so simple and "Ku3" can be so memorable... i think my memories of it'll last far longer than DnD...or Prom nite... Is it really true that people bond in the midst of "suffering"? Anyway, this year they're gonna make mooncakes! Smart move... cos they take less labour... (compare one box of pineapple tarts with 50 pieces inside selling for $10 and making one mooncake and selling it for $5) but i think more skill's required! Anyway i hope they succeed! :)

Later i was talking with Linus and Ah Ma... ah ma was saying that the M1s this year are very good... very spontaneous, yet respectful... Really impressive! I felt so guilty of myself... and we started talking about our class in general... how we're less bonded... and that many of us are "self-oriented"... Thinking about it, i'm pretty glad that the CG system's assorted... cos i get to meet new people! Its great to mix around to get to know other people better... and make new friends too! I realised that there are alot of potential good friends out there... just that i haven't had the chance to unearth the friendship... which is pretty sad...
I'm not saying we should leave our old friends behind... of course we should treasure 'em too! :)

Oh, on a lighter note, i cut my hair! yah... yesterday... its kinda cool cos 3 pple in my CG cut their hair! Weifeng cut on Friday, Ah ma cut on Saturday and I cut on Sunday! I was thinking of putting it off till next weekend, but i thought it'd be cool for so many pple to cut their hair... so i went and cut it! :) haha... Think half of my hair's been cut off... haha... and i managed to surprise some people today... some couldn't recognise me from the back cos i look different! haha...

PL's leaving for Vancouver tml morning at 4am! Bon Voyage PL! :) Take care lots and return safely...
