We went shopping at Bras Basah and Bugis today for stuff for the paeds kit!!! :)

Wah, not bad i must say... We got most of the stuff done already... Great work! Yay... So most of the kit's settled... Hopefully the cubes come soon and we'll be able to pass the pple their stuff!!! We found these really nice flashcards so we'll substitute them for the children's book instead...

Haha, it was kinda amusing... Me, Derrick and Yewsen like combed the entire Bras Basah Complex for Children's books! Then we had to place an order for more flashcards cos Popular got no more stock... Then later we went to Bugis to buy the children's toys... wah, so many kid's stuff! I also bought balloons for my birthday decorations and Derrick bought nice paper from Art Friend for my guestbook!!!

Yupyup... tt's all for my weekend...

Oh, i must also thank George for helping me to pass out my invitation cards to so many people! Thanks George!

Wow... It seems really long since i last posted, but its been less than a week!

Ok, basically what's up is:

1. Playhouse and Carine's bday was on 22nd Oct...
The M3 Class pulled out... and we got "booed" by the other levels... I felt pretty sad... Ok, next year we gotta put up an excellent play! I ate alot of food at Carine's party! Wah... the food was good, so i'm probably getting the same caterer...

2. My birthday parties
I'm having 2 gatherings... One on 3rd Nov for the med pple... Its gonna be a popiah party, so if U wanna be hygenic U better cut ur nails! (but i guess all of us have pretty short nails right, if not how to percuss? Talley also say "students will soon learn to keep their fingernails short) The other's on 5th Nov for my JC and Sec Sch friends and family...

3. My birthday present
haha... it seems like i'm hinting bigtime here, but i can't really think of anything i really want right now... except maybe a digicam... So it'll be good if i can get enough "donations" to buy one! haha... Or some "donations" so i can top up the rest myself... Like govt hospital subsidy like that... can pay $20 for a $100 stay... haha...

4. My new posting... I'm at KK hospital! Wah, i feel like i've been thrown into this big bowl of soup and i'm frantically swimming around in it, trying to stay buoyant... Don't ask me why, but i feel like i haven't exactly orientated myself to the place yet... Can still get lost, still feel like i dunno what i'm doing...

5. The Paeds Kit
Wah, this is a technical strain on my very limited "resources"... I dunno why but i feel like i've got alot of things to do (maybe cos my bday's coming? and i gotta do alot of admin stuff like getting out invites) and this adds to my load... but i'll try my best la... (Don't worry, my best is really really my best!) Cheesie's a perfectionist!

Aiya, i just read ah ma's blog and realised tt i forgot to give her her birthday card! Darn... Sorry Ah Ma, its gonna be real belated... haha... Anyway, speaking of Ah Ma's birthday, must really thank Ah Ma and Shiyi for treating us to birthday lunch last saturday! Yupyup, i had a great time! But i think the waitress at the crystal jade had a bad time, cos we were making so much noise... haha... anyway i had a really full meal... then wanted to go jogging with Derrick when i reached home... haha... i got a stitch after 100m... ;)

Oh, that was also the day me and carine went to buy PL's birthday present! We got her a fossil watch... hope she likes it... Sorry my posts are so disconnected... i've got too many things to post about!

anyway, i hope my post on Anin's house is wonderful enough... Maybe we can take photos and then post it up... a picture speaks a thousand words right? :) (But we're not advertising Anin's house!! haha)

Haha, Carine has already uploaded some picts! So i'm gonna copy them... haha... anyway here're some excerpts from her blog...

when we finally got to Pasir Ris we had to look for balloons... and Cheesie couldn't find them in NTUC. Blur her... ( I asked the NTUC auntie! She say she don't recall they have balloons) haha luckily Lile and I combed the place and managed to find them... then hurriedly went to the chalet. The chalet was very huge and spacious!... as long as PL is happy, we are all happy too... then we stayed over... and we all very funny.... got 4 rooms in the chalet yet we all squeezed into 1 room... ended up having to shift the heavy mattress in the middle of the night... but I guess these are the little things that make life memorable... cos you don't do them when you get older...

haha... yah, i ended sleeping on a double matress on the floor that we shifted from another room between PL and Xinyi... i didn't have a pillow! So sad... xinyi had 2 but i didn't wanna wake her... haha... the 1st thing i did when i semi woke up in the morning was to ask for a pillow (which PL gave me)... then i went back to sleep... haha...

Wow, i haven't blogged in ages!

The last time i blogged was 3 weeks ago... So yup, there've been lotsa happenings...

I lost and found my wallet in 15mins on weds morning... I went to school to mug, then as i was walking to the library i heard something drop... it was my NUS lanyard! Then i realised my bag was open... and my wallet was missing! I quickly retraced my steps but i couldn't find it... the canteen auntie also didn't see it... i saw the cleaning auntie and decided to try my luck... she said someone found a wallet earlier! So i crossed my fingers and followed her to the maintenance office... and there it was! :) So happy... if not i wouldn't be able to study...

I had my medicine clinical test on thursday! Both me and ah ma had the same tester... we were real lucky cos we got a really nice tester! :) My Long case was COPD and our shorts were the same: pleural effusion and ascites with hepatomegaly

Friday was the MCQ test... wah, i must've done more medicine MCQs that morning than my entire life! Me, george, Jonathan, Chong Han, Wenshen, Michelle, Shaofeng and Victor were like camping outside the library doing MCQs and comparing answers... haha... its not a good way to learn, but looking at the questions that come out, its seriously very difficult to pass if we don't memorise the answers to past year questions...

After the test was the Dean's talk... and Jack came to wait for me and Ah Ma so we could go to Anin's birthday party together... but 1st we had to go find our tutor to pass him his thank you card and present... then Yunxin called to say she left her wallet in the CRC... and Jack went back to find it for her... took him some effort... and he found it! :) Thankfully... its really terrible to lose a wallet...

Anyway, we took 1hr to get out of NUS! Goodness... the 95s were ALL FULL! And some were because the students didn't move to the back of the bus... sigh... so inconsiderate! We missed like 5 buses... After much walking to and fro between the Science and NUH bus stops we decided to take 197 instead... and guess wat? When we were on the bridge an empty 95 passed! SIGH... me and ah ma were delirious...

197 took very long so we took 198 instead... finally we arrived at Anin's place! haha... and we got "lost" taking the lifts... very confusing... then lift lobby had 3 lifts... we spoke on the intercom to anin's mom and she "unlocked" the lift for us... yet when we went in the button couldn't light up! So we called the intercom and the guard said we have to go down 1st... so we took the lift to B2 and tried going up... but it still didn't work! It turned out its cos we were in the wrong lift! Sigh... its the 1st time i got all sweaty trying to take a lift... haha...

Anyway, anin's house is real cool and nice! My favourite part's her topmost floor with the wonderful bird's eye view... as well as her internal lift... wah... so nice! :) We took lotsa pictures...

When i reached home (at 12am) i had to bathe n pack for PL's SURPRISE birthday party the next day! So tired... Some more i was sick...sorethroat... I have cervical lympadenopathy! 3 nodes... one's really huge!

So i slept at 2am... When i woke up at 6+am the next day i was thinking... I barely brushed my teeth 4 hours ago! Do i have to brush it again?? haha... (i did)

We had lectures... and then CHP meeting... wah, by the time it ended it was 3pm! Time to leave for PL's party... cos me, carine n lile were going early to decorate... Slowly the guests streamed in... and our guest of honour came at 7.30! haha... PL was so blur... she didn't even know she was in pasir ris... haha... i think it was a great party! and PL was touched... she teared before cutting her cake... *so sweet* Shiming really did a really great job... and the effort paid off! :)

haha... Ah ma was still hungry and there wasn't any food left... so she was really happy when pizza came... haha... :)Slowly the guests left... and Xinyi, Gerrie and Sylvia came at 11pm! Wah... but it was nice la, cos we got a chance to sit down and chat... :) Carine was saying tt our Sec 2 gang and JC gang's really different... haha... its true... we were at different phases of our life and we all grew up together... so the bond formed's different, but its a strong bond all the same... :) like ionic bonding and covalent bonding like that lah...

it turned 12 and we all wished PL happy birthday! :)

gerrie called a cab and it so happened that it was a london cab! She was worried she had to pay extra... haha.. she was still saying "Oh dear... I asked for a NORMAL cab!"... we were all so excited! I went to look at the seats... haha... anyway she didn't have to pay extra... she was just really lucky... the cab driver was really amused... cos Xinyi went in to sit down.. and got off again... she regretted staying over cos she wanted to take the cab home... haha...

Finally we got to bathe! :) Wah, i felt so happy man... all the grime and dirt... haha... then later we looked at PL's presents... and played some card games... before sleeping at 4 am...

This morning we had breakfast at Mac's at Downtown East! (PL's treat... :)) Me and Carine bought the Hello Kitty bookmarks! it started raining... luckily we almost finished eating...

When i reached home i took a shower... and then Derrick came over to keep me company... :) we just spent a lazy afternoon eating lunch, playing the meow meow game, talking, afternoon nap etc... then his parents came to pick him up... The weather today's really nice! perfect to sleep man...

Ok, tt's about it for my eventful week... will blog about the next few days soon!

I hope carine posts her pictures soon so i can copy from her.. haha
